Supporting Indonesian Industry with Apollo’s Industrial Cleaning Systems

At Apollo, we believe that true partnership goes beyond the sale of a machine. It’s about investing in our clients' success. That’s why we sent our Business Development Manager, Toma Skroza, on a multi-city tour of Indonesia last month. But Toma isn’t just a BDM, he’s a fully qualified chemical engineer with a deep passion for enhancing industrial efficiency. His mission was to put his expertise on the ground, deepening partnerships and providing hands-on support to some of the nation's biggest industrial players.

The Power of Local Partnership:
PT. Inter Prima Perkasa (IPP).

The cornerstone of our Indonesian presence is our invaluable local partner, PT. Inter Prima Perkasa (IPP). This strategic alliance is the bridge between our Australian engineering and the immediate needs of our Indonesian clients. For our clients, this partnership delivers tangible advantages that directly impact their bottom line:

  • Local Spare Parts: Access to a local inventory of critical components turns potential days of downtime into mere hours.

  • Rapid Technical Service: When maintenance is required, an expert technician is available in-country, ready to respond.

  • Deep Market Knowledge: IPP’s team understands the unique operational challenges and conditions of the local industry.

This is our solution to ensuring you get world-class quality without the delays of international support.

Strengthening Relationships with Industry Leaders

Accompanied by the expert team from IPP, Toma’s tour spanned from the mine sites of Balikpapan to the industrial centres of Batam and Jakarta.

By spending time on-site with industry giants like PT Trakindo Utama (Caterpillar) and Petrosea Tbk, we gained valuable insights into their day-to-day challenges. These visits, along with productive meetings with PT Altrak (Cummins) and the national railway operator PT Kereta Api Indonesia (KAI), were about listening to our clients and reinforcing our commitment to keeping their fleets productive.

Showcasing Australian Excellence at Mining Indonesia 2025

A major highlight of the tour was our presence at the Mining Indonesia 2025 exhibition. The event was a buzzing hub of industry innovation, and we were incredibly proud to be featured within the prestigious Australian Pavilion. This provided a fantastic platform to showcase our Australian-made quality and engineering to a broad audience. The connections made on the exhibition floor were invaluable, and we thank Investment NSW and Austrade for their brilliant support in championing Australian manufacturing on the world stage.

A Commitment to Indonesian Industry

Toma’s trip reaffirmed a simple truth: the best business is done face-to-face. We know the mining and heavy industries don’t stop — and neither does our support. By being present, responsive, and technically capable, Apollo ensures our Indonesian clients can rely on us as true partners in their journey to achieve maximum operational reliability.

A productive meeting with the industry leaders at Trakindo Utama. Our discussions focused on our shared commitment to keeping their Caterpillar fleets running at peak performance.

On-site at Petrosea, gaining valuable, first-hand insights into the immense scale of their operations. Understanding these challenges is key to being true partners in their productivity journey.

Our commitment to Indonesian industry extends to its critical infrastructure. Proud to see our parts washers supporting the essential maintenance operations of the national railway, PT Kereta Api Indonesia (KAI).

A fantastic start to our client tour in Balikpapan with the team at Mandiri Services. It's always a pleasure to see our equipment delivering results and to discuss ways we can enhance their operational efficiency.

A sincere thank you to Kutay and Jonathan from Investment NSW. Their support in championing Australian manufacturing on the world stage is instrumental to our success abroad.

The incredible energy at Mining Indonesia 2025. The bustling crowds were a clear sign of a vibrant and innovative industry looking toward the future.
